Different and Better

Are you ready to be better? At the end of this video, you will be different and better because you watched it. I know that's a bold statement, but hear me out. A few weeks ago, my wife and I were talking and she quoted Mother Teresa. And what she said hit me like a ton of bricks. Here's what she said.

Each time anyone comes in contact with us, they must become different and better people because of having met us. Wow. Imagine when people encounter you, they become different and better because they met you. That had a huge impact on me. And I've spent a great deal of time thinking about how I show up and how I can show up to make people better.

I thought about how I could show up to my family and my friends, everybody I come in contact with. How can I show up better on these videos? So you watch the content and ultimately you're a little different and you're better by having seen it. As you can see, we made a few improvements to this studio. Shout out to my friend Dustin Webb that Dustin.

I thought he was a magician behind the camera and editing with video, but he is a master woodworker and I want to thank him for helping me. We have a lot more to go, but that's my point. We will continually improve. So you end up seeing and hearing the content that we create and it's delivered in a way.

So you are different and you are better after watching it. So what does that mean to you? I want to challenge you. I want to challenge you to think about how you can intentionally focus on improving people's lives, making them different and better because they encountered you. I want you to think about that with your family and your friends and your coworkers, your team members, and even strangers.

And what about your customers? I want you to think about how you deliver to them and how your team delivers to your customers, as well as your products and service. How can we improve them? So when people use our product or use our service, they become a little different and a little better because they worked with you. Try what I'm trying.

Before you encounter somebody, ask yourself, what can I intentionally do to make them different and better? When you go into a meeting with a team member, what can I do to make them different and better and continue to do that with your products and your services? Get together with your team and talk about this be as intentional as you can and talk about how can our products and services get improved so the customers we deal with are different and better when they use them.
